Content Features Add unlimited database content - All content is stored in a database. Each database entry equals a webpage. Add, Edit and Remove as many database webpages as your website calls for. KCExpress provides you with seven database content options: Article Database content, Product Database content, Business Database content, Date-based Database content, Static Database content, Evergreen content, and Messageboard content.
Easy Add and Edit content - There are two ways to add or edit content.
- Website Edit Mode You can view the website in the Edit Mode. The Edit Mode is the published website with "Edit: and "Add" icon placed on the page that provide direct links to the content edit form or the content add wizard. This mean that you can easily navigate to the webpage where you want to edit or add content.
Database Workflows - From the KCExpress Content Management interface you can quickly add, edit or remove content from the website. Easy to use database workflows guide you through the add, edit or remove process.
Rich Text Formatting Controls - All database add and edit workflows provide you with Rich Text Editors to format your website content with familiar Word like formatting controls.
Image Upload - You can easily upload images, graphics and other file types to include in your website. No FTP access is required to upload files.
Preview Content - You can view changes or new webpages before they are approved to Go Live.
Metadata Management - You have the power to increase your websites position with the Internet Search Engines: Goggle, Yahoo, Excite, Lycos, all search engines, directories and listings. KCExpress provides you with the metadata fields that are published behind all your webpages. These meta fields are the fields that search bots crawl to index your website. From the Add and Edit database workflows you can add and tweak the right keywords, description and title so the search bots index your webpages correctly and your website is at the top of the search returns.
